Monarch Butterflies Return to Pismo State Beach
Pismo Beach, CA
– They’re Back! The migrating Monarch
Butterflies have returned to Pismo State
Beach North Beach Campground. The public is
invited to learn about and observe the
butterflies in their winter habitat.
California State Park docents and volunteers
will be available to answer questions from
10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily beginning
Saturday, October 29, 2005. In addition, at
11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. each day, there
will be a docent interpretive talk about
these amazing creatures.
Pismo State Beach North Beach Campground is
located a quarter mile north of Grand Avenue
on the west side of Highway 1 in Pismo
Beach. Admission is free to the public. For
